Hello I’m Dr. Lisa Salstein, a Board Certified Psychiatrist, and before you go further - I want you to know you are not alone. I care deeply for my patients and believe compassion leads to healing.
While volunteering for a suicide prevention as a teenager, I was inspired to develop my skills and ability to help others.
I attended medical school at the University of Massachusetts, studied psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital and focused on advanced therapy training. I have a diverse background in medication management, different forms of therapy, and in both neuroscience and mental health research. This diverse background provides me with many different tools to help me address the obstacles in your life.
I work with people confronting a wide range of life and relationship struggles including feelings of depression, anxiety, and any life transitions. Under my care, you and I will work together as a team with therapy and medication if needed.
I want you to know you are not alone - change is possible - and you can feel better. When you're ready, you can call and we can start working to change your life!
